WE HAVE SOUND - cyber-collaboration project - is an idea I had in November 2006. Back then, I was almost done with the record but I was looking for something, a project, that could give me the energy to finish it. I posted an open call for sounds online - the idea was to collect sounds that came from all over the world to later integrate them to the song called "Going Places". So I posted a little loop taken from the song, just to give everyone an idea of what the track was going to sound like. There were no rules as to what kind of sound to send, as long as it was not more than 15 seconds.

6 weeks after the post, I had received about 70 sounds in total, coming from 15 different countries. They were all used in the song (sometimes just short excerpts). Here are some of the sounds. Some people had the patience and the generosity to record amazing sounds and I would have loved to play them one after the other (without my music) in the song... Thanks again to all the participants - you know who you are.
